Devil May Cry 4
Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth installment of the Devil May Cry series. It was announced in March 2007 that the game would be released simultaneously for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
In the game, the player controls both Nero, and Dante, the game’s protagonist and the series’ title character respectively and fights enemies in close combat using firearms, swords, and other weapons. The characters Lady and Trish from previous games in the series make appearances, along with new characters Kyrie, Credo, Gloria, and Agnus.
The game received generally favorable reviews, receiving an 84% overall rating from Metacritic. GameSpy commented on the gameplay and said that “DMC4 succeeds on many levels with its entertaining gameplay,” and commented on the graphics, saying “visually, DMC4 is a dynamo.”
Need for Speed Pro Street
Need for Speed: ProStreet is the 11th installment of Electronic Arts’ popular racing game series Need for Speed. On May 21, 2007, Electronic Arts published a teaser trailer of ProStreet, and officially announced it ten days later. It was released worldwide in November 2007.
The demo, featuring two races, one speed challenge and one grip race, appeared on Xbox Live on October 26, 2007, on PlayStation Store on November 1, 2007, and on PC on November 2, 2007.
Madden 09
Madden NFL 09 is the 2009 edition of the American football video game series published by EA Sports and developed by EA Tiburon. It is the 20th annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. The game was released for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360 consoles. Madden NFL 09 is the last commercial game to be released for the Xbox in the United States.
The Wii version of the game is titled Madden NFL 09 All-Play and was launched under EA Sports’ new All-Play brand exclusive to the platform, taking a slightly different approach to the game and taking advantage of the motion controls.
The 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition of Madden NFL 09 includes NFL Head Coach 09, an alternative case, an exclusive version of John Madden Football ‘93 with updated teams and rosters and bonus video content and clips.
A demo of the game has been released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The standard version and the anniversary package were released on August 12, 2008.
Fatal Inertia
Fatal Inertia is a futuristic hovercar racing game from Koei. Originally an exclusive for the PlayStation 3, it was released for the Xbox 360 in 2007 and was released on the PlayStation 3 on May 29, 2008 in Japan, June 19, 2008 in North America and July 15, 2008 in Europe as a download on the PlayStation Network under the title Fatal Inertia EX. The PlayStation 3 version was delayed because of difficulties with the Unreal Engine 3 on the console, due to the cell processor’s architecture.
The game is set in the mid-22nd century Earth, and a handful of immense corporations control virtually all business, politics, and entertainment. Extreme sports have become one of the main sources of entertainment with Fatal Inertia as the most popular. Competitions take place far from cities due to the high level of danger.
There are six different racing environments that are divided into fifty-one courses.
